Sumaiya joined the team at Smile Dental Practitioners in 2005 as a trainee dental nurse. She completed her Dental Nursing qualification in 2008 and has successfully completed a BDA certified Radiography and Radiology course. Sumaiya’s drive to learn and constant encouragement for others to learn are shown in the quality of her work. She is now a senior clinical compliance lead who trains new nurses and supports foundation dentists. She is also a practice manager assisting in supervising the running of the practice, marketing and budgeting. She has a very positive outlook and life and is a calming presence in the practice. Sumaiya has enjoyed and flourished working with a versatile group of individuals.

Outside of work, she adores spending time with her three kids and has a passion for cooking and music.

Aisha graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with Honours from the University of Manchester and has since developed a strong foundation in delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. She is committed to providing ethical, and high-quality dentistry in line with NHS and GDC values. With a particular interest in preventative and holistic dentistry, Aisha focuses on evidence-based care that prioritises long-term oral health and patient education. She is committed to continuing professional development to stay up to date with the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry. Outside of the practice, Aisha enjoys staying active through pilates and yoga, exploring new cuisines, and travelling.

Harpreet qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2008. Having a keen interest in head and neck surgery she completed a one-year training post as a senior house officer in oral & maxillofacial surgery at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. In 2012 she completed her Membership of The Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is an active member. Harpreet provides a full range of dental treatment however has a specialist interest in the field of oral surgery. In addition to working at the practice she works two days a week as a speciality doctor in oral & maxillofacial surgery in Nottingham carrying out a range of procedures on patients who have complex medical histories as well as those suffering from head and neck cancer or trauma. Harpreet has a passion for education and is currently in her final year of completing a master’s degree in medical education at the University of Nottingham. Recently, she has also been appointed an educational supervisor in the East Midlands and is responsible for guiding and supporting foundation dentists who are in the early stages of their professional careers.

In her spare time Harpreet enjoys fitness events including climbing mountains, reading history and non-fiction, eating as much as possible (when possible), as well as building adult lego sets as a means of switching off.

Lesley has worked at Smile Dental Practitioners since its inauguration. She has seen Smile flourish with time and has been a wonderful support to her colleagues. Lesley loves meeting and building a relationship with a diverse range of individuals. In her spare time; she likes to play pétanque and bowls. Lesley is also a fan of exotic holidays and has never happier on the beach with my Kindle in one hand and a cocktail in the other.

Rosie has been a valued member of Smile Dental Care since 2019, providing dedicated support to the practice through the challenges of the pandemic.

Outside of work, she enjoys attending theatre performances and concerts, embracing her passion for the arts.

Having been a dental nurse for 17 years, Hiral has brought with her a wealth of experience when she joined the practice in 2009. She has seen the practice grow and develop in many different areas mostly in building patient relationships. She has been successful in her profession over these years truly because of her nature and total commitment to dentistry. It gives her great pleasure to put a smile on patient’s faces with respect and dignity.

In her spare time, Hiral enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also has a keen interest in cooking and listening to music.

Sarena joined Smile Dental Care in 2019, where she supported the practice through the challenges of the pandemic.

She is now a registered professional with the General Dental Council (GDC) and currently serve as an implant and surgical nurse, contributing to high-quality patient care and supporting advanced dental procedures. She also supports new nurses in their training.

In her spare time she likes to travel.
